FIrst album was really good, but closer to kamelot than Conception. This new stuff is the reverse. I am seriously looking forward to this one.

I know this is going to end up on a lot of top ten lists, yet I haven't heard anything except the teasers. It's rare you find a vocalist that goes so far to emulate another. If you guys like this stuff here's another couple of bands he's in to further fill the Khan void.



Innosense is where I first heard this dude. The lyrics are awful in spots due to broken English but there's no denying the talent here. This tune best represents them.

Sunburst is a little frustrating. They have had these demos floating around for a long, long time without an album. I think it's finally out for mastering but damn I need this in my life. Here's a mix of Conception and Jeff Loomis.

Okay, this went from wow they have a new album coming out/they're still around? to top five of the year. It's that good, folks. The choruses are insane. Sure he sounds like Khan, and the band sounds a little like Conception, well maybe a lot. Roy hadn't sounded this good since Karma and a few tunes from Black Halo. What strikes me as strange is this is the same songwriting duo from Sunburst but with a completely different sound. Gus Drax can go from Otsby to Loomis. Great album.

With the emphasis on A LOT! I'm a huge Conception fan and can say that without a doubt that Black Fate is the one band that sounds more like Conception (In Your Multitude and Flow) than any other.

The Sunburst demos are killer also. Love the crunch. Innosense is brilliant as well.
