BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, fronted by guitar icon Zakk Wylde, will embark on the "Unblackened" tour in April. Originally performed as a one-night-only concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles for a live CD/DVD release two years ago, the show will now make its way across the U.S. The performance will feature intimate versions of some of the band's most popular songs, as well as tracks from Wylde's solo album "Book Of Shadows" and his southern rock band PRIDE & GLORY. I always wanted to take 'Unblackened' on the road, [but] we just didn't have the time until now," said Wylde. "You can take a song that youve played thousands of times and rearrange it, and all of a sudden its something totally fresh. The attitude of the songs doesn't change when we play them acoustically the tunes are gritty regardless." The new dates are as follows: April 03 - Huntington, NY - The Paramount April 04 - Hampton Beach, NH - Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom April 06 - Sayreville, NJ - Starland Ballroom April 08 - Baltimore, MD - Rams Head Live April 09 - Fort Wayne, IN - Pieres April 11 - Grand Rapids, MI - Orbit Room April 12 - Milwaukee, WI - The Rave April 14 - Wichita, KS - The Cotillion April 16 - Grand Junction, CO - Mesa Theater April 17 - Salt Lake City, UT - The Depot April 18 - Sacramento, CA - Ace of Spades April 19 - Anaheim, CA - City National Grove of Anaheim Support on the trek will come from WINO. BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's latest studio album, "Catacombs Of The Black Vatican", sold around 26,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart. "Catacombs Of The Black Vatican" was released in Europe on April 7, 2014 via Mascot Label Group and one day later in North America through eOne Music. BLACK LABEL SOCIETY amicably parted ways with longtime guitarist Nick Catanese and replaced him with Dario Lorina (LIZZY BORDEN). BLACK LABEL SOCIETYs' "Angel Of Mercy" video was directed by longtime collaborator Justin Reich of the Antimatter Studio. The clip depicts a stripped down version of the wall of sound that is widely associated with the band.
