Black Metal Guitar Sound

Hello again,

I was finish recording guitars to some black metal band.

I use :

1. Flame guitar with EMG,
2. Laboga Mr. Hector Guitar Amplifier + Laboga Cabinets Celestion Vintage 30
412 A/B (more info www.laboga.pl)
3. Marschall Head + the same Laboga cabinets
2. One Shure Sm 58 and one SM 57,
3. Behringer Ultragain Pro,
4. Firestudio,

I have one good guitarist

Guitar Amplifiers + Cabinets

There is sample :

1. What do you think about this sound ???
2. My snare cant sit in the mix ;(

Well to respond to the actual reason you made this thread Sinquest, I think the guitars in the final version sound fantastic and are played AMAZINGLY tightly, I'm impressed! However, the drums need some serious work, I feel like I'm listening to them through a pillow (no high-end anywhere, especially on the snare), and the contrast is very jarring compared to how good the guitar tone is. Is that mostly the Laboga? Also, you should elevate the cab off the floor; it sounds good this way, but I'm pretty sure it'd sound better if it was disconnected?

Oh, and I really like the music too!

metaltastic - no bas, drums isnt editing yet, i was record bass vocalls and keybord soon, hmm acoustic guitars too

sample - drums + guitars = drums no editing + guitars no editing, no eq, no comp, no fx only mix lagoga and marschall gitar sound
