Black Metal like Nifelheim's self titled

So basically, looking for thrashy black metal in the vein of the aforementioned Nifelheim album.

Big lists are welcome, I've got a long night ahead of me with not a whole lot to do but listen to metal.

I don't know what's too obvious for you, but there's also Hellhammer, Kreator, and Venom.

The safest buy would be the other three Nifelheim albums, and after that their other releases.

Aura Noir kicks ass. As does Bestial Mockery and GOTH, and I'm yet to listen to Nocturnal.

As for other Nifelheim albums, I've listened to Servants of Darkness and the newest one, Envoy of Lucifer. While I did enjoy both, they've got nothing on the self titled (imo).

I agree with you on Envoy of Lucifer. Their second album Devil's Force is on par with the S/T so check that out when you can.

Ah, Absu! Of course. Listened to Tara ages ago, loved it, and for some reason never looked further into their discography.

And Destroyer 666 is a given.
