Venom is 80's supreme. If you didn't know any better, this could be a joke band a la Bad News or Spinal Tap....except it isn't. And THAT's what makes it so f'ing great.

I don't care if you copy 'em, it's just that it eats at my bandwidth to have them appear in people's signatures and crap, which is surprisingly frequent. Things like this are no big deal, as they'll get maybe a few hits before the thread dies, but if someone who posts a lot puts it in their sig, it gets hit every time someone reads any thread they posted in.

I think I get upwards of a few thousand hits a day just to images that are remotely linked. I'd rather save the bandwidth for people who are actually using the site for it's purpose. Besides, 95% of them are found by googling anyway, so there has to be other sources for you to link to

It's surprisingly good and catchy though, like a good old Motorhead album. You can totally see where the Bay Area thrashers jerked off to Venom & Motorhead.

1980 - 1985: UNBELIEVABLE time for metal. Just a fucken explosion of innovation.

After looking more into what bandwidth I'm using, I think I'm going to forego my crusade against remote linking of images. I thought it was eating up a lot more bandwidth than it actually is.
