Well it's been offically announed that Ronnie James Dio will reunite with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward under the name "Heaven and Hell" and will go on tour during 2007 playing all Dio/Sabbath era tunes!

that will for sure be AWESOME to see! I haven't seen RJD since I saw him in Tacoma, WA with Lynch Mob and Armored Saint. That was an awesome show!

seen DIO in Spokane twice...once in 1983 w/ WHITESNAKE opening the show, during the Last in Line tour. The funny thing about this show, was later thru the years on WHITESNAKE went glam...during this show, everyone was in t-shirts and blue jeans. *LMAO*

and the 2nd show was in 1985 w/ YNGWIE MALMSTEENS RISING FORCE open the show during the Sacred Heart tour.

Both were great shows!

STATEMENT REGARDING IOMMI/DIO TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT

Tony Iommi and Ronnie Dio are working on a project together which has nothing to do with Black Sabbath. There is only one Black Sabbath. Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Bill will be touring late next year along with new Black Sabbath album. However, Ozzy wishes Tony and Ronnie much success in their project together.

Iommi owns the Sabbath name based on the history of the band. Maybe now with Ozzy back Tony is leaving the Sabbath name on that.

To me get Tony, Geezer, and Bill together and that is Sabbath. Call 'em whatever you want, they come near here, I'm going.

Geezer is a big bass hero and I have never seen him in person play. I ran into him and talked to him at the San Diego Comic convention many years ago.
