Has anyone heard it? It got so trashed when it came out, because I think people were expecting Heaven and Hell part 2, but now in hindsight, I think the criticism might have been a tad unfair. In fact, I've read some reviews recently that say it's way underrated.

Thoughts?

I haven't heard it. I'm very close-minded, I admit, when it comes to the almighty Sab.

Post-Ozzy Sab doesn't matter. Flame on.

For the record, I'm not trying to derail this thread. Sorry. :)

i remember it being a pretty Goddamn good release. It had some great songs on it ...

Obviously the J stands for Jew. You're a spacker :loco:

I'm sure you guys know how much I love Dio...but Dehumanizer really is quite naff. I've had it nearly two years, dig it out every once in a while, and still no joy. It's too slow, too plodding, nothing really sticks out. I don't even remember any cool Dio rhymes like "Circles and rings, dragons and kings" or "Holy Diver you're the star of the masquerade, no need to look so afraid" :(

That's one of the best Metal lyrics ever and you know it!

All of you are sooooo gay.

Dehumanizer is one of the HEAVIEST moments in the Sabbath discography. "Computer God," I mean c'mon....
Heaviest sadly does not translate into Best.

Isn't "Time Machine" from that album? I always thought that was a delightful ditty.

How does "Dehumanizer" compare to Dio's "Lock Up The Wolves"?

Any rainbows, "look out!" or "danger!"s?
None as far as I remember :(

Hell, that's a point...if there ain't no references to rainbows on you it sucks by default! :loco:
