No, I prefer Blackfield. PT is good, no doubt about it, but Blackfield just hits a nerve with me that not a lot of bands do.

Well preference is ok, but musically PT is way more innovative, and impressive.

As I said before, I enjoy both bands immensely, just Blackfield more. I know PT is better in a technical sense but Blackfield hits me more on an emotional level.

lol, I can understand that. Blackfield certainly doesn't have the happiest tunes around....

They're both phenomenal bands; sometimes I'm more in the mood for Porcupine Tree, other times I'd rather listen to Blackfield. I've got to say that I greatly prefer Blackfield over Fear Of A Blank Planet though. Other than that, they're pretty equal to me.

I liked both bands but for me I definitely more into blackfield but I don't see you can compare PT between blackfield, they are certainly very different kind of music.
