i love blast beats... i was talking about that in the opeth forum, and there was this guy who was like, yeah i dont like blast beats thats why opeth are like the only death metal band i like (har har har).

Considering that I'm Mr.Grindcore, blastbeats are important to me. That and other various types of "blasts" (sonic, gravity) are a must in my music. Heh, I don't care what you say about grindcore, but you MUST respect the skill it takes to be a successful grindcore drummer. If you want unbelievable blasts, check out Dave Witte from Burnt by the Sun and Phantomsmasher. Neither are grind, but both rule.
