Fan-filmed video footage of THE FOUNDRY, the band featuring former IRON MAIDEN frontman Blaze Bayley alongside bassist John Moyer (DISTURBED), drummer Bobby Jarzombek (RIOT, SEBASTIAN BACH, FATES WARNING, HALFORD) and guitarist Rick Plester (BLACK SYMPHONY), performing the IRON MAIDEN classic "The Clansman" on March 8 in Universal City, Texas can be seen below. Regarding how THE FOUNDRY came together, Blaze told CantonRep.com: "I was working with Rick Plester a few years ago on some songs for the 'Soundtracks Of My Life' CD that I put out, and we decided to do a few shows. It's a really good chemistry, and it's a lot of fun. Nobody really needs to do it, but we get together because every time weve done it, it's so much fun that we just have to do it again. We do quite a few of my songs, and a few covers. It goes from an hour to about 90 minutes. But the reactions have been really great, and it's really a lot of fun." The 51-year-old Bayley, who was born in Birmingham, was the original frontman in WOLFSBANE, but left in 1994 to join MAIDEN, with whom he recorded two studio albums 1995's "The X Factor" 1998's and "Virtual XI" before Bruce Dickinson returned to the group. Bayley released a career-spanning double-disc collection, "Soundtracks Of My Life", on October 31, 2013. The singer's latest studio album, "The King Of Metal", was released in March 2012. The CD was recorded at Fear Studio in Ravenna, Italy.
