Well that is cool. I dont have all those first 7 albums, only a couple that ive picked up cheap. So maybe if this set isnt completely ridiculously over priced ill buy it.

Weren't the EMI reissues remixed? or at least the first two albums? i could have sworn there has been a mixing overhaul previously. again, this is cool for the noobz.

funny you mention that cause I always thought something was different, even in the later albums.
The first two were remixed. It looks like this set will have some later stuff remixed as well.

Is that BOC box out? According to a dude I often buy cool stuff from (missingpiece.net) the boxset is postponed until further notice. At least that's what his distributor said last week. Anyone knows more about this?

Looks to be same "quality" of the Kansas box set, with the exception being there are FAR MORE BOC albums that were still needing a remastering.

Is that Kansas box set good? It's only $60 on Amazon.
Is there any other cool/good box sets like these out there? (that are worth getting)

I was debating it, but honestly i own everything in it and only wanted the Monolith and Audio Visions for the remastering. Just decided to get the Japanese Kansas Monolith mini-LP replica instead since I have seen the layout of it and it's totally killer! the replicas in the Kansas box set have been slagged online for being cheap, which is fine for the price. but not when I am spending all that money for 2 discs. I would rather buy a nice Jap reissue instead. but then again, i am crazy too.
The Judas Priest box that came out (last year I think) was tempting just for the remastered Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings, but I couldn't justify it when I already had the other reissues.

I felt the same way about it. I owned that all already and there was really nothing extra in it for me besides the same as you.
