I walked away even a bigger fan of their music, energy and sheer passion for perfection.

Awesome! They put on a fantastic show when I saw them earlier this year with Leaves Eyes. I wasn't too much of a fan until I saw them live.

Out of all the band's I cover, BG always gets the biggest response. Shocking they are not bigger here in the states. Backstage pass? Where are those exclusive backstage photos.

Blind Guardian only arrived shortly before going on stage.
Their sound crew was there most of the day.
By the time they arrived I've already got standing place rigt up in front so I didn't want to loose it.
Afterwards they went back to their dressing rooms and there was a line outside. I waited in line for a while but it was late and my girlfriend begged me to go home.
I'm sure they probably came out later and spoke to the people, they seem to be very friendly, I haven't spoke to any one who stayed behind yet.
For the rest of the bands I've got lots of photos from other occations, it's not that big a deal, you meet them in pubs sometimes as well.

That's cool...Metal fests allover the world. Just wished I had my own plane to fly around !!! Great to hear you had a great time !

sweet stuff man, ive been dying to go to an outdoor show like that- everywhere here in the US though is inside or at least has most of it enclosed that ive been to.
