Well heres the story, this morning I only bought two cd's to uni, Napalm Death- Noise for Music's Sake and Earth- The bleeding fields. Well I wasn't in the mood for death or grind. I wanted something more sedate.

So I picked up a Best of Blue Oyster Cult. I had never really heard of them but had heard a few people say they were good.

I'm halfway through the cd and I haven't skipped a track, which is rare for me. This is some good shit.

I haven't really heard much original BOC, just people covering them lol, but they are good songs. I really dig Metallica's cover of Astronomy.

Yeh, i got that 16 track Best-Of, called "Don't Fear The Reaper:The Very Best Of". It's some good stuff. I have to say my favorite BOC song is suprisingly "Take Me Away". My second favorite is probably "The Red And The Black". Fast, rocking song. !
