The search function fucking sucks.

A good search function would be really cool and useful.

Now that I'm Premium, I can bring it up in the Premium superforum.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to phrase my request. Help me out by composing a post for the Forum. If it's good, I'll incorporate it into my thread, when I create it, or maybe even use it as is!

I was thinking something like:

SUBJECT: How about Search?
MESSAGE: Hey, I think a useful Search feature would be really helpful and appropriate. Are there any plans to fix up the existing Search? If not, could there be?

The sig was originally intended to make a statement against the giant sigs of the Opeth-board habitues, and the culture that allowed them. Unfortunately, short of some minor whining, no sea change seems to have occurred. Kleo has taken the concept and done it better than I ever could have conceived, but seems to be provoking a backlash rather than a sincere political change.
