Why Boycott?
- Israel occupies and oppresses the Palestinians
- Israel breaks International Law, UN resolutions and Human Rights during the occupation
- Israel ruins the Palestinian economy and robs the means of living from the Palestinians
- Israel denies the return of Palestinian refugees, although the country accepts hundreds of thousands of immigrants from other countries every year
Boycotting is a direct means of action when moral, rationality and international law is met with contempt. Other states that have broken the Human Rights and International Law have been met with boycott campaigns, like South Africa during Apartheid.
Why now?
- The "peace process" is dead. It has become evident for all that Israel prefers violence to negotiations.
- One of the world's mightiest war machines is being used against Palestinian civilians.
- The number of Israeli settlers in Palestine is rapidly increasing. This is a calculated campaign to covertly annex Palestine territory, intensified over the last few months in spite of promises to stop construction projects in coherence with the negotiations of the early nineties.
- The Israeli aggression also affects neighboring countries like Syria and Jordan. The threat of large scale conflict increases.
- The Palestinians themselves have recently launched a boycott campaign on Israel
