See you in Birmingham! I cant wait to see them again!! WAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Dave come to the Birmingham one with meeee.

Support acts arent announced yet.

Ill take that as a yes. Leeds is closer BUT they'll be better in Birmingham. There will probably be better support, and its a hometown gig. The Asylum is one of the best venues ive ever been to aswell.

We don't exist Siobhan, what do you expect really from bands nowadays

Time for our independence I say, I'm sick off being overlooked because bands are dumb enough to think we are part of England (This is not an ANTI-ENGLISH rant, but it's happened a bit too often for my liking). Any band that does a tour and misses out Scotland no longer has me as a fan, GNR was a prime example, they had dates in London and Manchester and none in Scotland, being the mug I am, I got a ticket for Manchester and when I got there, Axl cancelled the gig and I was fuckin raging, I kinda stopped travelling down south for gigs, Ozzfest was the last time I've travelled down south.

They don't deserve our support.

Considering Bolt Thrower never gig... everybody is very lucky with the amount here. Its not the bands fault, itll be promoters.

*the English

It clearly can't be an issue with promoters as I'd say at least 2/3 bands nowadays ignore Scotland (and Ireland, I must add our compadres), it's fucking annoying. I hate having to travel for bands, yet I find myself having to travel probably at least 3 times next year to see bands I like. I mean, right I don't care that I'll be travelling to London to see Trivium for example as they are playing 2 other Scottish dates. But having to travel to see a band purely because there isn't a gig in your country, it's a bit ridiculous.

Bands should be able at least say what countries they would like to play, I mean, I noticed even Northern Ireland got a date and I am honestly stoked for them as they are more likely to miss out gigs than us lot in Scotland, if a band says "I want to do a UK tour" it HAS to include the 4 home nations, after all it's supposed to be the United Kingdom.

FRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Providing I don't happen to have an exam in close proximity to 1/05, I'll go to the ULU gig... 1 minute walk down the road, can't go wrong!

I saw G'n'R in Glasgow not so long ago...

Also independence would be fucking rubbish... I'm all for a bit more power but full independence? No fucking way.

And by the way, stop moaning you bloody Weegies, even when bands do come to Scotland I have to sit on a bus for three hours just to fucking get there. Since when did Scotland exist purely of Glasgow? Did I fucking miss something? Is there not a fucking great big motorway called the A90 that takes you up to the third biggest city in Scotland and the oil capital of Europe? Shut your dirty southern cakeholes

Independance would ruin Scotland, but let's not get into a debate about that.

Mate, I will happily travel anywhere in Scotland to see a band, as long as it's fucking Scotland I don't give a shit. I'm going up to Inverness and Dundee for a few gigs next year, doesn't bother me.

Sorry I should have said that it was in 1992 or 1993, it was the use your illisuion tour, I wouldn't pay that ginger heided twat any of my dosh for performing in Glasgow when it ain't GNR,

Gnr to me is the band albeit the slightly overblown 1990's version, I would have loved to have seen the classic line up of 1987

Aww C'mon lets stick together here, never mind the cheap shots about where we live, we can't help it if we were born and bred in Gleasga and thus making it the 4th largest City in the Country,

your solution is easily solved, move fuckin Cities :lol::lol:

I have done the same, Fucks sake I even travelled 3 times down south to see SLAYER in festivals, but the point is that the whole country was left out together, that is what is getting up my nose

It doesn't bother me either, I regularly travel for hours to see a band because that's the way it is and I'm used to it. But you're lucky to get any gigs on your doorstep. Once, just once, it'd be nice to walk into town, see an awesome band, walk home and sleep in my own bed... as it is I'll do a 26-hour round trip on a Megabus twice in 2 months to see bands, because if I don't I won't get to see them.

It's just a bit annoying that Aberdeen gets overlooked by everyone. I said to Evile and Gama Bomb both, "come to Aberdeen, we've a good metal crowd" and both said something along the lines of "fucking Hell, that's a bit far away". Well it's not! It's only 150 miles or so north of Glasgow. We've a decent range of different-sized venues and a population starved of decent gigs. But no, we're never worth travelling an extra couple of hours for...
