Bonham vs. Peart...

Okay, which monster band from the seventies do you think has a better drummer...

I can honestly not decide, as both drummers show insane technical proficiency, especially for their time, as well as the ability to solo like no other...

I have no problem with Bonham, but he is not in the same class as Peart. Don't get me wrong, Bonham was a riff-master and not bad technically, but Peart is the father of modern technical drumming.

If I had to chose on of these two I would have to go with Peart. He's a great percussionist & no flash, he gets it done.

All respect to Bonham, he had great groove and was a heavy hitter, but Peart is awesome. His solos are awesome.
