Bouncy bouncy hardcore!

I'm working on an ep for a local band named Promises. What do you guys think? Drums are the drummer's samples except for the kick which is good ol' kick 10.

Upped the amount of room on the snare, then did a couple more tweaks. Opinions?

The snare is actually a bit too pointy to me (which is a huge surprise cause my snares always are super pointy). But it's popping out too much compared to the rest of the mix, almost like it's not sitting "in" the mix.

Other than that things sound good. I'm sure a lot of people here would suggest bringing up the kick, too.

This is like a perfect blend of The Acacia Strain and Whitechapel mixed with ouldskool DM ... I'd buy this shit

Riffs could be a little more exciting though, kick the guitarists ass to make better riffs and include harmonies goddammit, i'd sound huge.
Mixing is cool, like the chuggy-ass guitars a lot.


I like it a lot, its just my style.
It has been done before though ;D
