BREAKING BENJAMIN frontman Benjamin Burnley has told Consequence Of Sound that he has been "working on an acoustic album" while the band has been touring. He added that the disc "will have BREAKING BENJAMIN songs done acoustic, plus two or three new songs. We're working on arrangements and strings on there, so it's been a lot of fun, and we're looking forward to it coming out," he said. Last December, Burnley told Music Mayhem Magazine that BREAKING BENJAMIN's acoustic album would contain "mostly the band's more notable songs but there will be some songs on there that aren't quote-unquote hits." He said: "We will do a small tour to promote that. From that point on, we will try to incorporate that into our rock show as well once it becomes part of our catalog." BREAKING BENJAMIN will embark on a summer 2019 North American headlining tour. A stacked lineup of special guests will join BREAKING BENJAMIN on select dates, including CHEVELLE, THREE DAYS GRACE, DOROTHY and DIAMANTE. Produced by Live Nation, the 35-city outing kicks off July 21 in St. Louis, Missouri at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre and will make stops in Detroit, Atlanta, Austin and more before wrapping September 25 in Salt Lake City, Utah at USANA Amphitheatre. BREAKING BENJAMIN is continuing to tour in support of its sixth studio album, "Ember". The disc debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and has spawned off two No. 1 rock radio hits with singles "Red Cold River" and "Torn In Two", marking the band's eighth and ninth No. 1 singles to date. "Ember" was released in April 2018 via Hollywood Records. Joining Burnley on the effort are guitarist Jasen Rauch (formerly of RED), guitarist/vocalist Keith Wallen (formerly of ADELITAS WAY), bassist/vocalist Aaron Bruch and drummer Shaun Foist.
