POISON singer Bret Michaels has released a promo reel for a new project that may be coming in 2018. In the show, called "Love Camp", Michaels promises to help several young ladies "find the ultimate date, and even better, maybe the ultimate relationship." According to Bret, "Love Camp" "is not just a dating camp," it "is a dating bootcamp. It's gonna be great. And we'll know who's a serial dater and who's a serious dater," he says. As for why he is the right guy to dish out advice to women about dating and relationships, Michaels says: "I feel that right now in my life is a great time to have this love camp. I've been through a lot of life experiences and I feel like I can give them the pitfalls and landmines that may help them find the right guy. "I don't come here with all knowledge, but I come here with one sole purpose: to make them have not only a great date but an awesome relationship," he continues. "After being through a lot of dating, especially through 'Rock Of Love', being on the road, from being a father, from every aspect and every angle, I can truly help these girls." More than a decade ago, Michaels starred in the VH1 "celebreality" show "Rock Of Love", which pitted 25 beautiful rock fans against each other to win over the musician's heart. The program aired for three seasons (2007-2009) and reportedly became one of the most successful shows in the network's history, shattering weekly rating records during its run. Bret later proposed to longtime on-and-off girlfriend Kristi Gibson on his reality show "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It", but they called it off in 2012. Gibson, the mother of his two daughters, Raine and Jorja, helped Michaels during his difficult recovery from a life-threatening brain hemorrhage in 2010. During an appearance on "The Steve Harvey Show" for the series' "Where Are They Now?" week, Michaels talked about why he signed up for "Rock Of Love" in the first place. "I had spent my life being out on the road since I was 15, 16 years old," he explained. "I'm not gonna lie to you, I really never realized how horrible I was at traditional dating. I think that a show like this, at first it's exciting, it's an amazing feeling … but at the same time, it's really scary." "I was reluctant," he admitted. "You're on TV and they've got 25 beautiful women and any mistake you make or line you use is going to be held against you for the rest of your life. All your tricks are out!" Bret said that he approached the show with the same honesty that he tackles everything else in his life. "I pulled up and said, 'Just let this be real.' Dating truly is about sincerity. You can try anything, but you gotta have chemistry," he explained. "That first night, I pulled up on the Harley, took my motorcycle helmet off, 25 beautiful girls. I said, 'Girls, I'm jacked up right now, let's go into the house, let's party. I don't know if we're gonna find love, but we'll find something."
