Nut Brown Ale, for the wedding October 9th.
Highlights:
- near boil over
- almost forgot to add the brown sugar
- initial trial of First Wort Hopping, where you put some hops in with the grains when you steep them at 155 degrees before the boil- didn't use much hops, but thought it might add to the flavor
- mia's mix cd freaked the dogs out with all the japanese shrieking (i loved it)
- kayo dot cd blew my amplifier (or got it so hot that it cut out for its own safety*)
*first time that has happened with this amp. it's an Arcam Delta 290, a pretty decent amp.
