From Bravewords.com:

"BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following in his diary at www.motleycrue.com:

"It's good to be in reh, the band sounds really tight.
Nothing much to report. Most of you know the TV shows and instore performance coming up.
On the tour front, yes KISS's manager told me we had the tour if we wanted it. I did explain to them it would depend on who is the special guest. We really appreciate such a cool offer, but it's important for us to feel comfortable with the package. Sometimes you tour for the betterment of the package, but as a new band we are trying to *like* the packages. I freaked when I saw it was announced that POISON was part of the tour because I told them that was not an option for the BRIDES. As far as my opinion, it isn't personal. They're cool guys and I have no beef with them as people. I JUST DON'T wanna tour with the band.

BLESS ROCK N ROLL
XXIS.N"

In response to Nikki's comments, Poison drummer Rikki Rockett sent the following email to Metal Sludge:

"Ohh, man! That hurt!
The new formula = 'The more you cut down Poison, the better YOUR music gets!'
I get it now! Awesome!
-- Rikki Rockett"

The 80s are coming back!

I agree with Rikki. Nikki is just bashing Poison coz its cool to do so.

I'd much rather see Poison than Brides of Destruction anyway. If it was Crue then I'd rather see Motley, but gimme Poison over Brides any day of the week. Actually even if it was Crue, I might still rather Poison actually... I mean just look at Vince Neil  At least Poison are still in shape, in form and don't forget their words.

Have to say though, this is all a very good sign of '80s coming back. I mean Kiss always tour with bands who are popular at the time. A few years ago it was Pearl Jam & Alice In Chains and stuff for example. Now its Aerosmith, Poison & Nikki Sixx's band, thats gotta be a good sign!

That's "they're" Terry. They're gay. Gay is not a possession of theirs.

Poison kick ass :headbang: Look What The Cat Dragged In is possibly the coolest party record ever. Whenever I'm goin out and wanna get all pumped up and in the mood to rock & roll, that album is the one I put on most often. Songs like I Want Action, the title track, #1 Bad Boy, Let Me Go To The Show, Play Dirty, Want Some Need Some... great stuff! The other two albums most commonly put on to get me in that mood are Too Fast For Love & Faster Pussycat.

The only reason why Nikki Sixx is still relevant is because Metal Sludge interviews him every year to remind people that he exists.
