Steve Harris has this side project and an album - The Burning - that was released four days ago. I'm checking it out on Spotify. Has anyone else given it a listen?

I gave it one listen and didn't mind it. I need to listen to both The Burning and the debut together to see how they compare with each other.

Crikey that was a quick reply! Yeah so far a few songs in I don't mind it either, but it's not seemingly particularly memorable.

Right time right place
I don't think the debut was particularly memorable either but it was easy listening and enjoyable. Just not the sort of album I return to all the time.

I checked only single, nothing special imo, I don't remember anything from it

I've listened to the album. It's OK. Solid rock album. Better than the first one, but nothing super memorable.

They toured here in parallel with Maiden but I didn't bother with either. I didn't think British Lion was worth driving for at least. If they'd played in the central city with some support acts I know/like I may've given them a shot.

And now their drummer is Maiden's live drummer.
