Brunetti+metal foundry+slate

Bought the new slate EX pack today, and made a quick test with Dandeliums DIs for the lost element

guitars reamped through a maxon 808 and a brunetti xlr evo
drums is metal foundry with replaced kick and snare from the EX pack

I think brunetti still sound too rockish because of the mids. yeah we italians can't make "metal" amps

*pfft* It's all about the mic placement. The distortion is metal enough, and with a different eq, it would be scoop-heaven.

true, i had the mids on the amp pretty high and also got a mid heavy cab,
well atleast having a rockish tone for metal is a bit original

just pulled em out of the mix and put em in the songs quick master chain, so it could probably sound better
