seperate pre-amp out files: (170 bpm)

I have the g-major effects processor underneath it in the rackspace! :)
In this clip I used a maxon od808 in front of the amp! micced my cabinet with a 57 and a SP b1!

Ok I listened with my hifi, goddamn great tone.
My old teacher uses a xl -revo and I can say I didn't like his tone because it was so much hardrockish, your clips breathe metal lol
I think that maxone improved the sound a lot.
Brunetti got other great "metal" amps like 059 or the new pirata, but I have to test em better.

thanks for the replies guys, I took my brunetti home and gave it a shot with impulses, same settings as the above clip,
what do you think?

here are the raw pre-amp out files if you wanna try them with impulses or add drums/bass or something! (bpm is 170)

(edit: first post now has the right links)

yeah, I definetly like the micced sound better too,
tried other impulses as well, but they don´t really come that close to the first clip..

so what do you guys think, how can I improve on my sound/impulses?
and what do you think of the soldano?

I think the mic'ed sound is good man, nothing to change at all really, maybe a little more presence, and maybe get a boost pedal to tighten the low end a little, but that's about it.

hmm.. funny thing is, I'm already using the boost pedal on all my clips (maxon od808).. I'll try out some new stuff miccing the brunetti and combining it with a 6505 next week, thanks for the pointers!
