Welp, it's the end of an era, friends. I'm sure all the other sites will shut down soon enough out of fear.

Oh definitely. It's not the end of file sharing, not by a long shot. They could ban every single site and we'd still file share, it would just be more underground. I just meant that it's the end of an era for BTJunkie. It's almost nostalgic now.

I look at it as the age of innocence coming to a close. Napster, Kazaa, etc. were all in the infant stage, and the stage we're in seems to be the age of innocence, which seems to be drawing to a close. Get ready for the rebellious teenager phase, which is going to end up making the authorities and big media shoot themselves in the foot. The more you oppress, the more people will fight.

I foresee huge changes in copyright laws.

Not quite, you just have to make an account and leave the user/pass with whoever you want to share with. That new "route" (if you want to call it that) is just a way to get the heat off of them and put it more on the user/uploader.

have you guys used demonoid? i think it's invite only...no public signups. i get in through my friend's account. but it's fucking awesome. and for metal, like i said before, everyone should check out RMT. best tracker on the internet easily.
