Budgie, the legendary Welsh rock band, first formed in 1967. They were credited as “the first British rock band to match it with the early U.S. heavyweights”. With Studio, Live, Best Of and Remasters, over 25 albums have been released by Budgie in the last 36 years.
Well known in the U.K., Europe and the U.S., Budgie are still the first chosen to headline for many music festivals and major concerts in several countries. Soundgarden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Iron Maiden & Van Halen are just a few of the bands that are fans of Budgie and have covered their songs.
Many top Australian musicians are expected to be at the show and possibly join them on stage for a jam, may turn this into a ‘party’ concert for all the Australian fans that have waited so long to hear them live!
