Buffett in Atlanta

My father worked for many years in the beer distribution biz. Corona was one of their staple brands. Needless to say, he has gone to dozens of Buffett shows over the years, VIP style. I heard they are a blast!

Glenn.....huge full page ad in the Orange County Register for his May 21st "Summerzcool" Tour in Irvine. Last time he was here margaritas were flowing like I've never seen :)

I am familiar with a lot of his tunes.
I think they are fun, esp for drinking and having a good time.

I have the same respect for Buffett as I do for bands like the Dead, who made a living more from being a road warrior and appealing to the fans, as opposed to relying on commercial airplay and exposure.

Too bad we have few bands like the Dead, anymore. Dead shows were the greatest traveling parties I have ever attended. No two shows are the same. Haight and Ashbury at MSG in all its Bohemian glory.

I think Buffett is a BIT out of Glenn's price range.....

On the other hand, if PPUSA keeps making money, Glenn could eventually book him for a special Sunday-night added show or something. :heh:

Better than I expected, actually. Did you get good seats?
