I have this impression too. The obvious reason though is money. Bullet For My Valentine equals lots of 14 year old emo kids spending money at Wacken.

Yeah, I read about this and it does seem a bit of a bridge too far. Although I guess it's another attempt for Wacken to try something different like they did this year with Ministry, Soulfly and Fear Factory so I'm not going to be too hard on them. It's still shaping up to be a great line-up although I'm not sure if I'll be going there again or to Graspop instead next year.

What the hell ?? BFMV are not metal , maybe a sub genre of it but definately NOT metal..
The wacken stage is strictly for metal bands. I will be seeing next year bands like , Immortal ,Therion , Belphegor , etc.
I hope they play in the small stage and not the main stage, for their sake.
