Boston-based BURN IN SILENCE will be entering the studio with producer Ken Susi of Unearth beginning Dec. 20, to record the band’s Prosthetic Records debut titled Angel Maker. The record will be produced by Ken Susi (Invocation of Nehek, Beyond The Embrace), with the session wrapping on Jan. 15.

"This will be our third time recording with the wonderfully charismatic Ken Susi and I can't wait,” guitarist Mike Casavant says. “He's an awesome guy and he's always got something stupid to say to make you feel really relaxed and comfortable in the studio. The music has already been produced, ripped apart, trashed, and changed by us, and we want Ken to kick our ass to get an awesome performance out of us."

"This album is going to showcase a lot of different styles, be that Metal, Hardcore, Death, Progressive, Thrash, Melodic, Black Metal or whatever,” Casavant says. “We really want to take what our forefathers have done, and take it to another level.”

Upon completion of recording, Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted) will mix and master Angel Maker, which is eyeing a tentative April 2006 release date through Prosthetic Records.
