Just been informed by Ammott snr that I have been voted No 4 best producer in Burrn Magazine Japan this year, Mike's No 4 Best Guitarist so obviously....4 is the number to be.
Beaten by Bob Rock, some guy called Fred from Sweden and Kevin Shirley, ho hum.

Well, congratulation Andy, though I believe you deserved a better ranking... Please, tell me that Bob Rock did produce something else than "Saint Anger" this year, because I can't believe this is the reason is above you... Kevin Shirley is really good that's true, and well, Nordström is also very good (I think you're the two producers on the top at this time) but way less cool than you ! Hey, this gives me an idea : why not do our own poll ? So here is mine :

I think that you really deserve it.

(Speaking of final results/sound quality)I am always astonished of how you make the sound so good, better than all of them with so limited resources compared to the other top producers.
Maybe that's the secret

Btw, my first post here. Don't worry, I'll ask for your valued opinions on recordings etc soon and one day I will be ignorant no more.
