Great news (again)!
...this record will definitely be the best Thrash album in many many years, I believe Testament could put out there best album ever...the best thrash band out there!
"Hopefully we’ll get to record it in July or August."...the equation seems problematic -- lots of touring in both July and August!?!?!

Cool little article! I'm really looking forward to the next album! One thing's for sure, Testament has yet to put out a subpar studio album so I have a strong feeling the next one'll rule as usual! Especially if Alex's playing lead guitar on it! James Murphy rules as well though.

Thanks for sharing that...nice to know that a new album is due this year. Just wanted to say this as I never got to say it before. I saw Testament for the first time in London last year and was blown away by their performance and the amazing sound quality! The London performance ranks as one of the best I have ever seen!

No mention of Greg in the posting. Does anyone know if he's involved with the new stuff in addition to the reunion tour, or is he too busy with HavocHate?

He is still one of the most underrated bassists out there, and a huge influence on me.

That's funny I considered True believer a ballad haha!.Actually the Gathering does have an instrumental,it's called Hammer of the gods and it is on the Japanese import.I payed 35 bucks in 2000 just to get it.It's a little bland and repeticious but it is an instrumental.

Yeah I know, I've heard it. I meant on the regular track listing for everyone, like Beginning of the End or Confusion Fusion. Heck, even Low had a ballad and two instrumentals, and that album kills.
