By far the funniest scene in The Big Bang Theory I've seen yet.

OMG I love Amy.. and Bernadette.. actually, I love everyone in the show except Penny. Penny is kinda boring compared to Amy and Bernadette.

Also... yes, pocketwatch!! <3

really? I think Penny is one of the most well-written, likable characters (she's flawed, but not a caricature like most of the others), and in real life the actress is probably the wittiest member of the cast. I tend to find Amy kind of annoying; there's really only room for one "Sheldon" on this show.

Bernadette is awesome. I love her dry sense of humor, with the occasional "Howard's mom" outbursts sprinkled in.

Oh no.. I LOVE Amy. There's room for all kinds of nerds! I love how girly Amy gets, sometimes, and how she's about ready to jump Shelldon.

I think I laughed the hardest at this:

BTW, Reddit hates this show, particularly Sheldon. Ironically, not only does Sheldon have reddit stickers on his laptop, he's often seen wearing a reddit shirt. I think he hits too close to home to how too many Reddit Users see themselves (when in reality they're just a bunch of Raj's), and is actually a caricature of reddit itself, which I think is brilliant. But then I'm part of the nomenclature.

Yeah, I have a friend who's a big nerd and hates the show. He thinks it paints us (nerd folk) in a bad light. I think it's great. It feels like half of the show is an inside joke, like when they blatently make up things about video games that aren't right, or when Sheldon uses IE.

Agreed, I feel it was made for me. I'm a real computer nerd and I went to the Royal Institute of Technology (the closest Sweden has to an MIT) - but I was in the slightly less socially awkward clique than the Sheldons. There weren't that many Sheldons actually, most of the worst cases were just overly nerdy without being brilliant :). Lots of perfectly recreated situations from those days...

Considering I hang around with enough social misfits (and I include myself in that), I don't have a strong desire to watch a show about social misfits. Granted, from the clips, it looks like it treats them better than some venues. (*cough*SyFy*cough*)

Any people here watch The Guild? I watched the first season and it is basically aimed at the same crowd. Basically it follows members of a WoW guild who are forced to meet face-to-face despite their lack of social skills.
