You don't know Phenomena? Griff you're breaking my heart (manos is not around so I can flirt
) ...
Well in the year of our Lord 1985 something kind of extraordinary happens (well not that extraordinary but Ilike the drama). Horror Italian master Dario Argento filmed a movie called "Phenomena"
http://french.imdb.com/title/tt0087909/. The music score as many Argento's movies was in charge of the legendary prog/electronic band Goblin
(you do know Goblin don't you?
).
At the same time (related or not to the movie, I'm not sure about this part) a guy by the name of Tom Galley (does the name rings a bell?) wrote an album and called some
unknowns to play in it (Mel Galley, Neil Murray, Cozy Powell, Glenn Hughes
). The result was a project mounted around a sci-fi/horror story unrelated to the movie directlky but involving also a little girl with special powers

There are two albums afterwards, but I have never checked them, to me the debut is the shit (like Sixx will say
).
The album was released in CD format in 1992, still available in places like CDUniverse (usually European export).
The album is short but juicy, pure hard rock of the best class, far superior to many Whitesnake albums IMO, all the songs are good but standouts are 'Kiss Of Fire', 'Dance With the Devil' and 'Hell on Wings'
