I liked True Nature Unfolds when it came out, a quite good post-hardcore release but I'll pass this time. Every scene becomes saturated at a moment or another I guess.

Mouth of the Architect is just another exemple of how saturated the scene is. All these bands are a quick fix until the real deal is coming out in 2007.
no it's not, the new album is truly ace. Can't say about new Callisto, I grew tired of "Trve Nature Unfolds" quick though, a couple excellent riffs but pretty bland as a whole.

Seriously dude, listen again. In extenso. Sure it has the unmistakable Isis vibe, but the songs, they are just superb. Actually, the more I listen to it, the more it is on pars with "Oceanic" in my book. It is always a matter of who comes first...

...which I rarely take into consideration when judging an album, unless it's a painfully obvious ripoff of course, and I agree about the MOTA album being more than a mere Isis/Neurosis clone, and their dynamics are often excellent. BTW, I liked the near-instrumental Callisto track (Pathos).
