The sprawling story of Calva Louise, the band that found each other from opposite corners of the world – whose combined influences and experiences created a myriad of captivating threads entwined into their existence. Metal, punk, electronica and art rock weave through grandiose narratives and cinematic storytelling with a mindblowing visual delivery – Welcome to the Calva Louise Universe and the release of their new studio album, Edge Of The Abyss, which is co-produced by Pendulum’s Gareth McGrillen and will be released on July 11 via Mascot Records.
The band has released a concept video for their new single, “Impeccable”, which can be viewed below.
“‘Impeccable’ tells the story of a young man called Jonnie, who after being deadly poisoned has no other choice but to act with impeccability in order to survive. For this, he will have to follow his double into another world, the Fractalworld, or death will strike him with certainty.
Jonnie will have to quickly understand who his double is, as well as cross over the threshold to overcome his fate.
‘Impeccable’ is the direct sequel of ‘W.T.F’, where the main character Louise has her first encounter with her double.”
The video was directed / edited by vocalist / guitarist Jessica Allanic.
