“Unsung Hero (She’ll Never Tell)” celebrates the quiet strength of a heroine. She accomplishes so much that goes unnoticed, all while battling her inner demons. Despite her struggles, she never complains and continues to support others selflessly.
“I wrote ‘Unsung Hero (She’ll Never Tell)’ in the middle of the night one night and …the great inspiration for that song and for many things in my life is my mom. She’s amazing. But as I was writing it and as I was singing it I did see some flashes of myself in there. And I also saw flashes of basically every woman that I know.”
Candice Night’s next single is a tribute to all the “Wonderwomen” out there who don’t receive the recognition they deserve.
The upcoming music video follows interwoven stories of women from all walks of life as they battle their ‘dragons’ – shadowy fears and anxieties – as they find their own way forward, showing that heroism isn’t always about grand gestures: it’s in the quiet resilience of everyday struggles.
