Sweden’s CANDLEMASS will hit the road for a North American tour during the Spring with DAYLIGHT DIES. The first date to be released is as follows:

May 20 - New York, NY @ B.B. King Blues Club

Ball gravy has definitely been committed in my pants.

I really hope they do a FULL tour, and not just LA, New York, and Toronto, like some bands do.

Good pick with Daylight Dies too. Saw them on the Moonspell / Katatonia tour. I have been meaning to pick up their stuff ever since.

the Emperor shows, Dissection shows (which sadly never happened), and the Immortal shows were all announced that they'd only be doing select dates, as this says "tour"

Ahh, ok, thought by "bands" you were referring to other bands on this tour.

I notice JAXX has had CANDLEMASS on their "upcoming" section for many months.

Powerfest is going to be sandwiched in between MANY amazing tours.

Don't forget, Iced Earth will be somewhere around that time, as well, as Helloween / Gamma Ray.

Candlemass and Daylight Dies are both doomy, so why would the other ones get added? I think one more band gets added, if any. The last 2 albums have probably sold well enough in the US to decide to headline a tour and not screw it up.

Well, Leave's Eyes and Cellador are already on the King D tour
(Assuming it goes down as planned).

I agree though that Candlemass should maybe add on one more solid drawing band. Too hard to say how they would draw on their own.

Personally, I don't care who opens, as I will be there regardless.
