These samples sound a lot more promising than the last two Candlemass releases and Lowe sounds killer! Looking forward to this.

Samplers sound excellent . I have high hopes in new Candlemass album.

I like "Candlemass" and "King of the grey Islands". Maybe the main problem is that both combine overwhelming songs with 2 or 3 average ones. There´s a lot of difference between the best and the worst tunes.

I like "Candlemass" and "King of the grey Islands". Maybe the main problem is that both combine overwhelming songs with 2 or 3 average ones. There´s a lot of difference between the best and the worst tunes.

Here we have another disagreement (a lot lately isn't it? ). Like you I believe both albums are great, like you I believe that there are astounding songs in both, but I won't go to say there are worst tunes. My view is that there are solid albums with normal songs and above the bar songs, but no fillers or weak material IMO.

I thought KotGI was very solid, much more so than the s/t (which is a fine album too). I guess Demonia 6 and Destroyer are widely considered to be the weak links on the album but I like them. Maybe it's because it was only when KotGI came out when I really got into Candlemass and also saw them live but there's something that just clicks with me in that album.

I got it. I'ts alright to fill some tapes , I love the fact that they play 'Of Stars And Smoke' live, my favorite KOTGI song and one of the best Candlemass songs ever.

Yeah I dig king of the grey islands. The S/T was hard for me to get into.
See I really dig Solitude Aeturnus, but I realized over the years how Robe Lowe's voice sorta changed. For Example, listen to Beyond the Crimson Horizon and then Compare with newer Candlemass stuff or even the last Solitude Album.
He may of very well have altered his voice to be different from Solitude, but to me I think his voice on the early Solitude records were killer.

I still think it sounds good on King of the Gret Islands, but oh well maybe I am just bitching.
The new MASS is looking to be quite killer from what I hear.

I'm a really big fan of Candlemass and I have some friends who have heard the entire album and say that it is amazing. Leif Edling has said that it will be a classic along the lines of Nightfall. I'm very excited for this release.

More than a disagreement it was a bad expression from myself . I don´t want to say "worst songs". I referred to "less good songs". In spanish average is more like "OK but nothing special".
