They are high quality but i simply dont like em, its more a "cannibal corpse fan thing" why i dont like them my favourite "modern" corpse production are The Wretched Spawn and Gore Obsessed

You think Audiohammer is a "metalcore" production company? Didn't they do like Deicide?
I'm stoked on this cause hopefully it means a CC record I can actually listen to and not just cringe at the production.

Not the biggest Rutan fan but I thought his style suited CC well.
I can appreciate the technical skills of Mark Lewis too but he's definitely leaning on the cleaner side which isn't always what suit the music imo.
Deicide lost a bit of aggression on their last couple of albums, especially on THWG because of that (again imho).
On the other hand I loved what Colin Richardson did on Bloodthirst so idk.
I think CC need to sound a bit ridiculous, nasty and retarded so wait and see...

Excellent on the producer.
Maybe they will have a good, clean and massive sounding record since the one Richardson did that will actually sound really heavy.
For me they have serious issues with clarity in the guitars, way too much gain/fizz, typical hyped low end and scoop, vocals too dry/underprocessed, EXCELLENT bass, drums not quite consistant enough to justify having them so ... yeah

litte offtopic… Just watched the making-of of the latest corpse-record with Rutan. I would have left the studio after one day working with this producer. I can’t imagine working with someone who acts like this all the time. But maybe it’s just a “camera-on”-thing?
