While playing a game of tennis I crushed into a steel u-profile bar.
I was running at full speed towards the ball, and there was a curtain in the back which i thougt was something i could run through since, but just at the point where i was there was a steel bar.

So with full speed i crushed on it...I was (and still am in so much pain).
My shoulder took most of the blow. After that my face and leg also got hurt. I got a swolen cheeck and a cut, my leg has got a bone bruse.

The worst thing is my shoulder tho. I can't lift anything, or even move it. According to the docter my muscles in my shoulder got damaged quit a lot. And I shouldn't even think of pikking up a drumstick for the next 3-4 weeks...

This sucks major ass.. next to that I'm in pain, I can't be musical....:erk:

That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. I've broken my middle finger before which sucks as a guitar player, obviously not as bad, but a good thing came out if it, in that I started using my little as my ring finger which I never would have tried otherwise, and now that finger is much stronger. Maybe you could work up your other arm on a practice pad or something? Anyway, It could be worse the 3-4 weeks, I'm sure you'll make it. Good luck though. :)

stuff like that really sucks

I had my left arm broken for 4 times, three rips, my right leg, 2 fingers and so on (I played football and I've been skating a few years ago).
I know how you feel, I stopped playing football because I got bruises all the time on my arms and my shoulders (linebacker) and sometimes I wasn't able to play guitar for almost a month because I had to train 3 times a week and the bruises didn't heal very well.

Thanx for the replies :)
Yeah it sux, but now I can make some time for just mixing and stuff.. :)
Anyways...I'm so glad I recorded the last couple of trax of my bands demo last week before the accident.... Whole relief...
