San Diego-based deathgrind masters CATTLE DECAPITATION have announced the extension of their record contract with Metal Blade Records. The band comments: "Very proud to have fulfilled our initial contract with Metal Blade Records and seeing this band rocketing into the future! We're happy to announce that we've re-signed with Metal Blade Records for a few more albums and that we'll be continuing this awesome relationship we've built up with the most important heavy metal record label on planet Earth over the last 14 years! LOTS of worldwide touring coming up. See you all soon as we continue our campaign ushering in 'The Anthropocene Extinction'!" CATTLE DECAPITATION will join SUFFOCATION on a European run, which will kick off next week. ABIOTIC completes the lineup that will destroy Europe under the banner of "The Tyrants Of Death". There will be a golden vinyl tour edition of "The Anthropocene Extinction" available, limited to 300 copies. Get your copy while you can. This will be the first European tour of CATTLE DECAPITATION in support of "The Anthropocene Extinction", which came out last August via Metal Blade. The CD was once again helmed by Dave Otero (ALLEGAEON, CEPHALIC CARNAGE), who worked on 2012's "Monolith Of Inhumanity". CATTLE DECAPITATION also enlisted a surprising array of guests to help achieve their vision. The one and only legendary Philip H. Anselmo lends his throat to "The Prophets Of Loss" while recent signee to his Housecore Records label, fellow San Diegan and friend of the band, AUTHOR & PUNISHER, brings forth the industrial damnation as an intro to the track "Plagueborne". Additionally, Germany's dark metal misanthrope, Mr. Jurgen Bartsch of the almighty BETHLEHEM, lends a spoken-word piece in his native tongue to the apocalyptic final track "Pacific Grim". The record also sees the band extending their collaboration with illustrator Wes Benscoter, who's handled the artwork for every CATTLE DECAPITATION release since 2002's "To Serve Man".
