I heard a couple of songs but I'm not too sure if I'm getting a full scope of what this band is all about.

I'm interested in their message but i'm not too sure if they are a authentic band of quality or if they are just exploiting a position.

If anyone is into this band I would appreciate any recs.

"Originally founded in 1996, Cattle Decapitation's songs protest the mistreatment and consumption of animals as well as the abuse of the environment. Lyrics may also focus on subjects such as misanthropy and genocide of the human race. Much of their music is based on putting humans in the situations that animals are subjected to (animal testing, slaughter, etc). Notably, all current members of the group are vegetarians."

About as high quality as deathcore gets imo. My friend's really into them so he showed me a few songs and they seem to be pretty good.

Honestly, when I first got into this style of music I loved Cattle Decap. Sad part is after branching out so many years later I finally got to see them live at Albertos Pizza in Lompoc, CA.. and I gotta say.. they are not that great. The vocals are weak and the instruments tend to not mesh well. Over all there is not a lot of structure in the band so I recommend you pass them up.
Try The Faceless. They succeed where Cattle Decap fails.

I love Cattle Decapitation, especially Humanure and The Harvest Floor.

Wait a minute....since when are they deathcore?
