"Caught in a Mosh" Newbie Question

Just bought AMONG THE LIVING and I have a question about the song "Caught in a Mosh." Is the beginning of the track supposed to sound all start-stop start-stop like that or is there something wrong with my CD copy?

Unless you disc is skipping it could just be the progression of the song / change of notes.

There is a kind of stop-start effect there during the first few chords - I know what you mean. I think what you're talking about though is meant to be there. Like Alex said, check the clock on your stereo.
