CBS's Survivor...Love It Or Hate It?

Survivor is the WORST thing CBS has ever done! I really can't figure out what everybody sees in it. Doesn't do jack shit for me. Fuck, I'd rather watch sports than that shit!

For those of you who do like this piece of shit program, why do you like it? What do you see in it that makes you want to watch it?

From my words, you have guessed correctly that I HATE survivor!

First off, it's not "Reality TV." The producer decides what is going to air and can completely twist things to make the impression they want. That's not "reality."

I don't watch the show...I want nothing to do with the show...and I hate anything even remotely related to the show.

I do like CBS' Late Show with David Letterman. I've been watching Dave for years though. Kilborn has his moments........

I have no beef with Letterman, he's awesome! It's that damned Survivor program CBS has that pisses me off.

I don't watch any of that stuff........I watch Letterman, Maher, Stewart, Kilborn, the Today Show, the price is right, Highlander, Cheers, Seinfeld, Frasier, Law & Order, X-Files, Simpsons, Family Guy, star trek, thats about it

I watch the Simpsons, Cheers, Friends, and Seinfeld. I used to watch Maher, but then they cancelled him in our area. It's obvious that "parties". I also watch Bill O'Reilly because most of the times, he pisses me off. Oh yeah, and I watch Stern too. Who doesn't watch Stern??

Maher got taken off here too. Most of the week I don't get to see any of the late night talk shows: I'm usually in bed by like 10........I don't like mornings, so I try to get as much rest as possible.

Ty, when/what channel is Highlander on? They took it off years ago, I stopped looking for it, is it back on?? It's bad enough I have to set my VCR every night because Homicide doesn't come on until 2 in the morning, no wait, now it's 1 cause we're pacific time again. I watch the Simpsons, MWC, Law & Order, and TRL...j/k. Oh and of course Sesame Street, Bob the Builder, and Spongebob Squarepants. But only cause I have a kid. Okay, I'd watch Spongebob without a kid, but still.

Its a good show. Any time I can watch people make fools out of themselves and lie to each others faces I am going to watch it. Its also interesting to see the group dynamics that develop and the fact that you can never, never predict what the final out come will be or who will win.

Besides the girl, Gina, who was voted off last week, who I am listening to on Howard Stern right now, who is hot as hell....went to my alma mater...University of Central Florida!!!

Yeah, I knew it was on DVD, I thought *maybe* it was back on TV. But, it will be forever before I can buy them, because if any box sets are going to be bought around here, it's the Sopranos (and whenever they get around to putting out the rest of the M*A*S*H seasons). I have very little say in what movies get bought, since I have such bad taste.

I would imagine it will pop back up on Sci-Fi sooner or later. I hear Adrian Paul has another show on these days. I would be interested in checking that out. He ruled as Duncan McCloud.

It's called Tracker on UPN. I watched it a few times, and I think it sucks. He's an alien, and he hangs out with these girls that work at a bar. Don't get excited about the bar, Ty, ( ) cause they're usually only there in the daytime when it's totally dead. He has to go around doing stuff to stop the bad guys from doing whatever. I think it's on Saturday afternoons. I was hoping it would be better, with him in it and all. I always liked Peter Wingfield (Methos) MUCH better, but his new show, Queen of Swords, also sucks ass, in fact, I think it was cancelled.

I always pictured Adrian Paul as the next Bond, I think he looks like a yong Sean Connery, and has that sophisticated presence. Sadly though, I think he has Spock sydrome, that is to say: he is typecast. Bummer really. I'll just sit back and enjoy Highlander and wait for another sub-par Highlander movie.

End Game was rather lame. As are all the sequels. Although, IMHO the series is better than ANY of the movies, even the first one! Everyone talks about it likes it is a classic in the same league as the Wizard of Oz or something. The production quality, cinematography, character development, and everything else were better in the series.

I ALWAYS liked the series better, but I totally hate Christopher Lambert, so I wouldn't have liked the movies even if they were the best ever. I can't even keep a straight face through most of them, the effects are so damn cheesey! Most of my problems with End Game are with the plot, like why did they start that thing about the crazy Watchers and then abandon it? And it's not like there were never any crazy Watchers in the series, they weren't breaking ground there. Also, when I rented it for my mom (she's got it bad for Duncan LOL) on DVD, at the end, the chick, Faith/Kate, didn't die. Duncan went to her magazine/modeling thing and she was there, forgave him, and left with him. But I didn't set it for an alternate ending, they just straight up changed it for video. And they kind of acted like it was totally over, yet there are AT LEAST 3 left, Duncan, Methos and Faith/Kate. Plus, you know, they could add immortals at any time. So to me, everything was left open. I never thought they'd actually commit to ending it and making only one and closing the door, but if they're not going to do that, they shouldn't act like that's what they did.

I do believe there is gonna be at least one more. The last one turned a profit, so I'd say it is only a matter of time. I think that without Connors character, they can make a movie with a more consistent plot.......

Survivor is a crock of shit! There is no real survival when they have medical teams, etc. behind the scenes...what in the hell kind of survival is that!?
