Hi! I remember a thread from a long time ago about companies that made covers and "burned" CDs for you. We are planning to order maybe 500 - 1000 CDs with cover. Any body know a good company? And is there something to be aware of? like how I send the orginal songs and so on?

Thank you very much!

Here in the US we have many options, with DiscMakers and DiskFaktory being popular around where I live. 1,000CD's here will run about 1100-1300 dollars. Getting only 500 made is only slightly less. 1K seems to be the point where the price per CD really drops.

Nice! But what was all the talking about having to have a super good cd burner and a high quality CD to send to the company? any suggestions about witch CD burner and CD? thanks!

if i was in a position where i had a bunch of completed mixes that needed a good master to be sent out for repro, i would probably call up a good mastering place, and see if they couldn't just accept the files digitally and then burn a quality master for you

i would think this would be cheaper/easier than trying to buy another piece of gear that you probably won't need all that often, and the mastering guys will probably be happy to make a few quick bucks doing it

Right now my band is ordering through Ultra Entertainment http://www.ultraentertainment.com

$899 for 1000 CDs, 2 panel front insert (more expensive for more panels), full color on everything, shrink wrapped, etc. and i think they do glass masters rather than burning on large orders too

For financial reasons we're stuck with ordering only 100 CDs this time, which is pretty lame, but the ordering process is the same and they were easy to work with. I've seen one band's final product from this company, and it looked clean. Ill comment on the product we get when it arrives later this week or early next.
