Check out the Vile Impurity, They are from Springfield and are having a CD release show tonight. I cant go because of a huge D&D session that has been planned for weeks.
Their drummer is stupid good

Also, Monstrosity and Massacre = brilliant headliners. The rest is kinda weak brutal death metal-ish averageness.

It was even better before the venue change. Some of the bands cancelled like Ogre and Rituals of the Oak. Still though, Revelation, Argus, Orodruin alone make it worth it. Plus, I'm going for free

I believe I'm camping in the Loess Hills that weekend. It would be sweet to go to, though. I wish Omaha had kept their metal fest going. I think that went down the tubes since Don Decker died, he was always behind all those metal festivals in the Midwest.

Monstrosity are a quality DM band and probably have not gotten the appreciation they deserve. Massacre should have some news coming up. A new album would be awesome.
