Always Somewhere!
Well David my sweet husband just got back from the San Diego Comic con. he brought me back some cool swag and loads of toys! I thought some of you may be interested, so I'm sharing.

Century Media had a booth there and he got me their catalog. Rob Zombie was there promoting his new "Devils Rejects". He met Frank Cho and picked up a ltd. ed. signed book of his sketches and works. I think TedVF would really like his work frank cho

He also met Bruce Cambell and he did a symposium on A vs. B movie actors. How War of the Worlds will always be a B movie...that anytime you have martian invading Earth, it's a B movie. He got an autographed copy of his new book "How to make love the Bruce Cambell Way"

Neil Gaiman is doing a new movie with the Jim Henson company called Mirror Mask and it looks phenomenal!! Mirror Mask
One of the wicked cards he brought me:

COOL. Lots of thoughts on this one. FIRST, I cannot wait to see DEVIL'S REJECTS!!! I loved loved loved House of 1000 Corpses, though it was a bit of a "texas chainsaw" ripoff but I don't think Zombie really denies that. I love Rob Zombie. His solo stuff is right up my alley. I love him solo more than in white zombie.

Secondly...I used to be HUGE into comics and toys from about 94 - 2000. When the Star Wars stuff hit..I went crazy...also got really into Spawn and it went from there...but it got way expensive so I had to forgo that hobby and stick to my cd budget...it was one or the other...but I do love a good comic. Y'all are my kind of people.

THIRD...and most curiously...what made you think your Uncle Ted would really like Cho's art?!?! (Ok, I did really like it..for the record) Was it because of all the Junk in the Trunk on his sample page? Why would you think I would love drawings of big booties? (which I did!) And I saw he had some humor to it too.

Are you psychic and if so gimme some lottery numbers! haha

ps...do y'all collect Spawn stuff? I had some signed McFarlane figures a while back...neat stuff...last toys I bought, though, were the KISS sets. (yup. bought 'em all but Dynasty is the coolest of them...Still need to get the Love Gun set and of course the new MOTLEY figs!) Know what I wish McFarlane would do??? And I even emailed them about it....A VAN HALEN SET!!!!!!!! WITH ROTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy freakin' schnikeys!

Yeh, got to meet ol' Bruce, too. He is so cool! I also got to meet Glenn Danzig! And the cool thing is, he wasn't part of a panel or a booth or anything, he was just a regular atendee! I ran into him on Wednesday during Preview Night and we were just shooting the breeze for like 10 minutes. Shook his hand twice. To my suprise, he was a really nice guy.

Damn! I'm jealous. I can't get enough of Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, etc. I'm even a fan of Brisco County Jr. I even got the Evil Dead game for my PS2 and I ain't much of a gamer.

Did you see the Hot Leah?? I also saw pics of this dude dressed like Leah... :ill:

You are the FIRST and ONLY person I've EVER heard use "Loved" 3 times
about that movie!! Curiosity is getting the best of me....
What did you love about this flick??? Once they went underground I lost track of the whole movie...And I watched it more than once with the same problem

Damn right! You and me both, Teddy Boy. That's actually become one of the main reasons why i go every year now. When the Comic-Con was all done, i was knee deep in comic books, and i like it that way. HAIL NERDINESS!!!!!!
