Hey Fellas,
I´m always on the journy to finde my perfect guitarsound. So I´m realy interessted how your chain of components looks to realize your sound.
Why???? Because I´m a drummer ;-)
What kind of stuff I need? Is it possible to create it all in the box?? I´ve read about tubescreamer etc. But how did I useall the stuff right?
I´m looking for sounds like the WOLVERINE BLUES from ENTOMBED and I like the guitaresound from the new HE IS LEGEND.
Thankfull for every help!!!
Peace!!!

Mine is
TSS->8505->Boogex->Catharsis Impulses->Some sort of EQ->TesslaSE if it suits the tone.

But I'm relatively new to mixing so it sounds like crap most of the time.

Guitar > POD X3 Live (and via USB) > DAW > POD Farm to reamp > TesslaSE and of course low and high pass at the end. I try to avoid using post processing EQ if possible. It's not a sin to use it, but if you have to use too much it means your source tone flat out sucks in most cases.

the only tip i can really give for a guitar chain is keep it as true bypass as possible. the last thing you want is an fx pedal giving you a mid boost or a noise gate doing some tone sucking when not active if your doing a live take (or not)
