charles fort/documentary/albany (NY)

i made this thread last night but it got sucked away.

charles fort, paranormal philosophiser, from this area. some guy got my name from a mailing list and got in touch a few weeks ago, asking if i wanted to be a part of an area 'fortean' get together, and i think there are at least three others he had mentioned. so some kind of dork gatherum.

again he e-mails yesterday and says that the reason for this is because Bob Rickard, the founder of the Fortean Times is going to be in the area soon, as a triage to a group of documentary filmmakers, and they want to interview local 'forteans'. i have no idea why, or why anybody would have anything interesting to offer, considering the man died 70 years ago.

anyhow, i was thinking of asking if anyone wants to go (and/or appear) as me? i'm kind of serious. i don't even like to be photographed.

You have to give your opinions on Fort, or just on Fortean occurences in general? Or in regard to Albany?

i'm not as "up" on things as you are, but i could appear on camera and move my mouth, and you could hide behind me and talk. you could even stick your arms through my sleeves to gesture with, as long as you don't poke me in the eye or try to pick my nose.

for all i know, it could be a bunch of annoying nerds standing around bothering an annoying UK nerd, with a bunch of film crew actually doing something in the background.
